  Las Vegas Jobs

Las Vegas is Booming Marketplace - but how does that effect you personally?

As you know certain people have the skills and ability to make a great living regardless of the economy.  For these people good jobs are never hard to find.  For many others it seems a good job always eludes them.  The income you earn as an employee of a company or self employment is critical to your enjoyment of life.  Lets face it - life is about comfort levels.  Aside from health and family support the biggest factor in determining your comfort level in life is income.  Las Vegas' economy may or may not live and die with tourism.  The availability of water, affordable housing, and general cost of living all are influenced by personal income.  But the bottom line is this - You need a job, a "good job" to enjoy your life.  This page should get your started in the right direction.

bulletLas Vegas Review Journal & Las Vegas Sun Classifieds - to be honest the good jobs seldom make it to the paper, but if you are aggressive and willing to work from the ground floor up, you may be surprised at the results.
bulletHospitals - the number of retired aged people moving into the Valley has placed an increasing emphasis on Health Care.  There seems to be a continual need for qualified Health Care Professionals (especially nurses).  The fact that you have no experience shouldn't hinder you from contacting Hospital Personnel offices.  There are still plenty of non-skilled opportunities available.
bulletCasinos - How more obvious can we get?  Tourism is booming year after year.  Get aggressive.  Open the telephone book and call the casinos.  Talk to the personnel departments.  Ask, ask, ask.  See what opening are available and be persistent.
bulletCity Government - There are a zillion administrative tasks performed by county and city government.  Open up the telephone book and call their job hotlines.
bulletCollege Placement Offices - Most major universities (regardless of the state they are located in) post opportuniteis nationwide.  States which border Nevada are more likely to post Nevada offerings - as employers do recruit out of area for qualified personel.  Check with your colleget placement office or alumni association.
bulletSchool Districts - are you a teacher or teachers aide or coach?  You probably already know what to do - call the school district offices.  It may not be glamorous but schools need janitorial services and grounds keeping as well.
bulletOnline Advertisements - we run text ads for a lot of products including job companies.  We have no affiliate with these companies so you'll just have to chekc them out for yourself.  The ads are generally in the navigation borders.  You should also try these keyword searches in your favorite search engine - Ask, Yahoo, Dogpile, Lycos, or whatever you like.
