Where is the best place to stay?
Casinos? Golf Resorts? Strip? Downtown?
Open ended questions like this one are subject to argument by
"seasoned" travelers. However, a consensus of travelers would
agree "On the Strip" is the best location. It's the old axiom
"location, location, location". But where exactly do we
recommend you stay "On the Strip". Our advice is to stay in a
resort in the South Central part of the strip, otherwise referred to
as "The Heart of the Strip".
To be more exact - choose a resort between the Fashion Show Mall
(Spring Mountain Road) on the North and Somewhere near the Mandalay
Bay on the south (Just south of Tropicana Blvd.) unless you plan on
renting a car or playing a lot of golf! This is not to say there
are not other fine Hotel Properties in Las Vegas (Rio, Orleans, Palms,
etc.). But this is truly "Heart of the Strip", is easily
walkable for most individuals, and will offer you the opportunity to
explore the most venues without the need to hire transportation.
You'll be able to go out, have fun, and return to your room for rest
and relaxation powered by your own feet!
Tip: Bring walking shoes that are already broken in!
Form before fashion, and you won't be sorry!

Recommended Packages:
Southwest Airlines Vacations
- Southwest Airlines; offering competitive prices, super convenience,
but more importantly quality resorts. SWA is one of the few complete
travel consolidators that work with the Major Resorts like Mandalay
Bay, not the run-of-the-mill low budget Hotels. If you are going to
stay at a casino hotel why not stay in style? Don't get stuck with a cheap package deal that puts you in
a room at a no name resort just to save $50. How many vacations
do you get in a year? Make sure you enjoy yours to the fullest!
Compare overall rates (Airfare, Car Rental, Hotel Rooms) with SWA and
see how convenient and affordable your next Vegas Vacation will be.

Finally - don't forget about the traditional travel agents.
Our advice is to take advantage of the online tools because they are
so readily available, easy-to-use, and free. It costs you
nothing to compare rates online. So arm yourself with several
rate quotes from online sources, then contact your Travel Agent.
Put them to work, let them find a good deal for you. And you'll
know if it's a good deal because you will already have the rates at
your disposal.
Caution: Be wary of some package deals, sometimes you
don't always get the best deal. Bundled shows, services, tours,
etc. are only a good deal if you would want to attend that event
anyways. Don't get locked into attending a show you don't like
just because it came with the Package.

Want a second opinion?
Savvy Internet Surfers compare rates. For this reason you will
find ads in the navigation bar on each of our pages. These ads
are generally from 1st Tier (Legit) companies. We have no
experience and are not directly affiliated with these companies,
but know they are serious about marketing online because they are
spending big money to do so. So take advantage of these offers
to compare with our preferred companies and get your best deals.
